Introductory Talks
Christina Nielsen, the Director and Founder of the Metavision Institute, will offer two introductory talks on what the Metavision Institute has to offer. Each will provide an opportunity for questions and will provide information about the Courses, the Short Courses and the Workshops on offer at the Institute.
You are welcome to attend either talk. They will be held on Saturday 29 November 2008 from 2.30 to 4pm
and Saturday 24 January 2009 from 2.30 - 4pm

Our current enrollment
into the first year of the Diploma course was filled to capacity.
The class has now completed the two intensives and has bonded as
a group extremely well. The enjoyment of singing with Karen Ashworh,
along with the experiential nature of the course and our study
buddy programme, has helped the bonding process. The attrition
rate from the class has been extremely low with only one person
out of 24 withdrawing for personal reasons.
Application for Accreditation
The Institute has embarked on an accreditation process with the NSW Department of Education
and Training at a Graduate Diploma level of qualification.
We have
submitted an application to the Higher Education Board to have
our current Diploma of Holistic Counselling and Advanced Diploma
of Holistic Counselling and Psychotherapy converted to a Graduate
Diploma of Holistic Counselling and Psychotherapy. The course aims to fulfill not only the requirements
for Higher Education as a Graduate Diploma, but also the training
requirements set out by PACFA (Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation
of Australia).
If accepted
this new qualification will run over two years rather than three years as it has in the past and will include
exciting e-learning methods. The format will be attendance at the
Metavision Institute campus in Bowral for two Intensives plus one weekend per year, and
thus remains suitable for people who live at a distance. The e-learning
component will ensure more personal contact and support throughout
the training.
Holistic Coaching Short Course
The Metavision Institute has added Holistic Coaching to its short courses. The new course will run over six months in three two-day modules, starting in 2009. Two courses are planned for 2009.
Communication
Skills training and Self Education with Soul
Following interest
expressed in shorter courses for both personal and professional
development we can now offer a two module communications skills
training and single module courses.
This is a new development.
